Swansea’s Singleton Park pop-up food festival set to stay long into the future

It has been a huge hit since it arrived in Singleton Park back in 2020. And now it looks as if the Swansea Bay Pop Up food and drinks festival looks set to stay for many years to come.

Those behind the popular outdoor dining experience have applied to Swansea Council for permission to use land to the south entrance of the park for the next five years between April 1 and August 30. The event returned for 2022 back in April. You can read the full list of food vendors at this year's event by clicking here. It sees a big tent erected in the park which is surrounded by food vendors for people to buy food from or enjoy a few drinks. Get Swansea stories straight to your inbox with our newsletter.

Founder and chief executive of Creative Hospitality Group, Bruno Nunes said: "We've found something that is really exciting with the pop-up and there is a lot of love for it. We're committed to continuing to labour with it and make it better each year.

"For everyone who comes, we write to them and ask them for feedback, and really what we are semi-obsessing about is how to improve the event. This is our third year running the pop-up and it's been great.

"We've worked with some great businesses and helped trigger new opportunities and we look forward to continuing to build those relationships."

This year, the pop-up has more than 20 food and drink brands will be serving a wide range of cuisines from Asian bao buns to plant-based burgers. You can learn more and book your table by clicking here.
