Plymouth issue Schumacher statement
Plymouth Argyle have issued a short statement after Steven Schumacher reportedly rejected the chance to manage Swansea.
Football Insider reported Schumacher has turned down the job in south Wales, but a club spokesman for the Pilgrims said he was "fully committed" to the Home Park outfit.
Schumacher led Argyle to the League One title last season and sealed a place back in the Championship for the 2023/24 campaign.

He had been named as one of the leading contenders by bookmakers to replace Southampton-bound Russell Martin in Swansea dugout next term after earning rave reviews for his style of football. For the latest Swansea news sent straight to your inbox, sign up here.
In a short statement issued to our colleagues at PlymouthLIve, the Pilgrims said: "We don't comment on managerial or player speculation but can confirm Steven Schumacher is fully committed to the club and looking forward to the Sky Bet Championship season getting underway."
The news comes on the back of an update yesterday which reports Chris Davies, believed to be a frontrunner for the top job at the Swansea.com Stadium, will be joining the coaching staff at Tottenham.
Twelve leave Southampton
Martin, when he is eventually unveiled as Saints manager, will have a squad rebuild on his hands as the St Mary's side confirmed 12 players will be leaving this summer.
Some big-name stars will depart, including former Arsenal and England forward Theo Walcott and Norway international Mohamed Elyounoussi.
Along with those two, Goran Babic, Sam Bellis, Matthew Hall, Zuriel Otseh-Taiwo, Leon Pambou, Fedel Ross-Lang, Jak Stewart, Will Tizzard, Jack Turner and Caleb Watts will be exiting.
Martin has been linked with taking two Swansea players with him to the south coast, with skipper Matt Grimes and midfielder Jay Fulton said to be on his wishlist.
Trio prepare for Armenia
Swansea trio Ben Cabango, Ollie Cooper and Liam Cullen are preparing for Wales' Euro 2024 qualified with Armenia tonight.
Rob Page has a fully-fit squad to choose from this evening, with David Brooks likely to feature at some point over the course of the two qualifiers and Neco Williams fit again after recovering from a broken jaw.
