Leeds looking at Surridge
Leeds United have identified former Nottingham Forest striker Sam Surridge as a possible option this summer.
The Athletic claims the Elland Road outfit are keen on Swansea City striker Joel Piroe, amid interest from several others including Everton and Nottingham Forest.
However, the same report claims former Swans loanee Surridge could also be on the agenda this summer, with Forest reportedly ready to let the striker leave before the end of the transfer window.

The 24-year-old struggled for regular game time at the City Ground last season, with his only start coming in the opening day defeat to Newcastle United.
In contrast, he has shown promise at Championship level, having netted seven goals in the second half of their promotion season in 2021/22.
Overall, his record in the Championship reads 17 goals in 86 matches, including four goals for Swansea during a short loan spell back in 2019.
Simms set for Coventry
Ellis Simms is in advanced talks to join Coventry City - and a deal is expected to be agree by the weekend.
The Everton striker, 22, is set to leave Goodison Park this summer in search of guaranteed game-time. Sky Sports state the Sky Blues are among a host of teams tracking him - with Swansea believed to be one - but that Mark Robins' side are in pole position to bring him to the Ricoh Arena.
The Times reported earlier this week that the Toffees were looking for around £7million to £10million for Simms, but our sister title the Liverpool Echo report a more conservative £6million to £8million would get a deal done.
Coleman wants efficient decision-making
Swansea chairman Andy Coleman has once again stated the need for everyone to be on the same page when it comes to recruitment and taking the club forward this summer.
There has been upheaval on and off the field in the past few months in SA1, with new decision-makers now in place and getting familiar with their new surroundings.
Coleman, along with new sporting director Paul Watson and head coach Michael Duff, will be working closely to help achieve Swansea's ultimate goal of being better prepared for the rigours of the Championship.
Coleman once again hammered home the importance of "one voice", with him being the man on the ground in Landore from now on.
“The best way for this organisation to be run is to have someone with a significant stake in the club here – with a deep background in business and experience in football – helping to lead Swansea City so decisions can be made quickly,” said Coleman.
“The hope is that this allows us to move much more efficiently, quickly and smartly moving forward.
“Every business I have been associated with has had one philosophy behind it. It is one team and one goal.
“We need every single person inside this organisation to be aligned with our fundamental principle, which is that we want people to be empowered to be the best versions of themselves they can be. That is how Swansea succeeds, on and off the field.”
The memory of Swansea's dire return in the January transfer window still lingers for some but Coleman says lessons will be learned from that period.
“I made this statement previously, but what this club needs is football people making football decisions,” he added.
“My job as chairman is to empower the people in those positions to have the ability to be as successful as they can be.
“People such as Michael, Paul, Josh (Marsh) and our entire recruitment team who have been working tirelessly over these last few months to be ready for this window.”
