Wolf up for grabs
Borussia Mönchengladbach would be willing to listen to offers for Hannes Wolf this summer.
German publication Kicker state a change in manager at the club could well affect the Austrian's future at the club. The 23-year-old spent a successful stint on loan with Swansea last season and early indications following the end of the campaign pointed to a possible return next term.
"Hannes really wants to stay," Martin said on the last day of the season. "I thought he'd use this to kick-start his career then go back to Gladbach and really force his way back in there, but he feels he maybe doesn't have the future he would like there.
"He's enjoyed it that much, he spoke about the supporters yesterday and he's never had that experience. He's really enjoyed it which is great for us. But I'm not sure we'll be able to do it. I'd love to but I'm just not sure."
There has been interest from Turkish clubs in his services and should a decent offer arrive, he could well leave Germany.
Kicker report : "Hannes Wolf can look back on a good six months on loan at Swansea City (18 starts with good performances mostly in left midfield).
"His perspective in Gladbach is still questionable, because the new coach Daniel Farke has a different approach to possession than Marco Rose, under which Wolf (contract until 2024) once came.
"In addition, the competition on the outside positions for Wolf is great. With a good offer for the Austrian, Borussia would probably be willing to talk."
Gould bags Pompey trial
Former Swansea goalkeeper Josh Gould has landed a trial at League One club Portsmouth.
The 25-year-old stopper was released by the Swans - alongside keepers Jamie Searle, Nico Defreitas-Hansen - at the end of last season.
He has previously had loan spells with Barry Town and Ebbsfleet. He starts for Pompey against Gosport this afternoon.
Swansea have added two goalkeepers to the age-grade ranks this summer. Remy Mitchell and Archie Matthews have arrived following their releases from Arsenal and Birmingham City respectively.
Montero heads home
Jefferson Montero has left Querétaro FC in Mexico to head home to play his football in Ecuador.
The former Swansea winger has penned terms with 9 de Octubre in his homeland. They are currently bottom of the LigaPro table after 15 games of the season.
"I hope to do my best, my wish is to play and contribute to this great institution," Montero said.
The move is being financed via a sponsor, Kinet, a construction and maintenance company.
Champ rivals not keen on Borini
inews state Sunderland have been offered the chance to sign former Swansea loan man Fabio Borini - but local reports have played down the links.
The Sunderland Echo reveal the Black Cats aren't interested in a reunion with the Italian striker, who is currently with Turkish Super Lig club Fatih Karagumuruk.
The 31-year-old spent time at the Stadium of Light between 2013 and 2018, scoring 17 goals in 93 appearances.
Borini spent a brief loan stint with Swansea back in their promotion season and has been linked with a return to south Wales on a number of occasions.
