Here's your round-up of all the latest Swansea City news for Tuesday, July 11.
Brentford lining up Wood bid
Brentford are reportedly weighing up a move for Swansea City defender Nathan Wood this summer.
According to the Daily Mail, the Bees are pondering a £4million bid for the centre-back, who only signed for the Swans last summer under Russell Martin.
Wood has also recently been linked with Martin's new employers Southampton, although no one has made a formal approach at this stage.
The England under-21 international was arguably one of Swansea's standout performers last term, and was even linked with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur back in January.
Reports claim it's the Bees who are now likely to move for the former Middlesbrough man, although there's clearly already some dispute over his valuation, with The Sun claiming it is likely to be closer to £7m.
Yates poised to complete Swans move
Jerry Yates is close to being confirmed as a Swansea City player.
The Blackpool striker travelled to south Wales on Tuesday for a medical ahead of completing a deal believed to be worth £2.5m, and the move could well be confirmed within the next 24 hours.
Reports elsewhere had previously suggested there were a number of other Championship clubs interested in signing the forward, including West Brom, Leicester City, Bristol City and Ipswich Town.
However, the Swans have seemingly won the race for his signature, and are now poised to confirm him as their third signing of the summer.
Bordeaux keen on Vente
French second tier side Bordeaux are reportedly keen on landing Dutch striker Dylan Vente.
The Roda JC forward has recently been linked with Swansea City and Championship rivals Coventry, with reports in the Netherlands stating the player was keen on a move away in this window.
According to score.fr, Bordeaux are now keen on making a move for the 24-year-old, although the same report states they will first have to secure an exit for fellow striker Aliou Badji.
Vente netted an impressive 21 goals in 39 games for Roda last season, and has one year left on his current deal.
Manning set for Southampton
Ryan Manning is reportedly closing in on a move to Southampton.
The wing-back is a free agent following the expiration of his contract at Swansea City, after the two parties were unable to agree fresh terms.
He's now on the hunt for a new club, and could well be about to reunite with former boss Russell Martin, who recently took over at the newly-relegated Saints.
According to Give Me Sport, Manning was at the Saints' Staplewood training ground on Tuesday, and could now become the first signing of the Martin era at St Mary's.
Gyokeres close to Sporting move
Former Swansea City striker Viktor Gyokeres is closing in on a £20m move to Sporting Lisbon.
According to Portuguese outlet Record, the Swede is due to complete a medical ahead of signing a five-year deal with the club.
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano tweeted: “Sporting will officially complete Viktor Gyökeres deal in the next hours as the player will fly from London to Lisbon with his agent Hasan Cetinkaya later today.
“He’ll be in Lisbon at 5pm local time by private jet to be unveiled as club record signing for €24m at Sporting.”
