Here's your round-up of all the latest Swansea City headlines for Wednesday, March 30.
Phillips decision gives Swans boost
Leeds United's Kalvin Phillips has reportedly told the club he wants to stay and sign a new deal at Elland Road - providing Swansea with a huge Flynn Downes boost. The Mirror's David Anderson has revealed that Phillips has told the Leeds board of his intentions to remain at the club. National reports suggested Leeds were lining up Downes as a replacement for Phillips should he be tempted away this summer.
Aston Villa were believed to be readying a £60million bid for the England international, with West Ham United and Newcastle United also interested. News that he wants to stay with the Whites will be welcome in Yorkshire and in south Wales, with Downes very much a key part in what head coach Russell Martin wants to implement at the Swansea.com Stadium.

Downes' former coach Kieron Dyer recently suggested that he was a £10million player and that he would move to the Premier League this summer. That may well still happen, of course, but it is no doubt a boost that it doesn't look like Leeds' star man needs replacing come the end of the campaign.
Swans on duty
Swansea had a number of players on international duty during the recent break. Jamie Searle made his bow for New Zealand against New Caledonia for a place in the Oceania World Cup qualifying semi-final. They won 7-1 to set up a semi-final clash with Tahiti, which they won 1-0. The final against Solomon Islands takes place tomorrow.
Ben Cabango played the full 90 minutes against Czech Republic on Tuesday and despite an unfortunate slip in the first half put in an assured performance. Olivier Ntcham didn't make Cameroon's 25-man squad for their play-off against Algeria but the Indomitable Lions booked their place in the finals in Qatar with a win over two legs. Ryan Manning featured twice for the Republic of Ireland - good news for Swansea, with a four-game domestic suspension under way.
Nathanael Ogbeta played for England Under-20s against Poland, while Dan Williams featured for Wales Under-21s against Switzerland and Belarus.
Ash's ultimate five-a-side team
Former Swansea skipper Ashley Williams has revealed his ultimate Premier League five-a-side team - and one ex-Swans team-mate makes the cut.
The rules were he could choose any player past or present who has played in the top flight. Williams faced some incredible opposition during his time with Swansea in the top division and played with some very good talent too. And straight off the bat, when asked who his pick between the sticks was, he didn't hesitate.
"I've Michel Vorm," he said. "I played with and against him, and in five-a-side he goes in for me because he's got unbelievable reactions, so we used to call him 'The Cat'. He was just, his reaction time was like, so fast and the best player with the ball at his feet, a goalkeeper who I've ever played with or against, He was probably the best passer in our team in that Swansea team. So in a five-a-aside game I feel he could pick a pass as well."
The other four making the cut were John Terry, Arjen Robben, Thierry Henry and Cristiano Ronaldo. Not bad, Ash... but no Leon?
Mesa gunning for promotion
Remember Roque Mesa? Of course you do. He was signed under Paul Clement but it was a case of right player, wrong time for Swansea, with the club struggling and eventually heading for relegation.
He was loaned back to Spain after just six months in south Wales, where he ultimately stayed. He's now with second division outfit Real Valladolid and is gunning for promotion back to La Liga. They sit third in the standings and won their last game thanks in part to a beauty from Mesa.
