Swansea City's team chef rubs salt in Cardiff City wounds with tattoo the players are loving

Swansea City’s head chef has revealed a new tattoo celebrating his beloved side’s historic derby double against bitter rivals Cardiff.

Russell Martin’s side defeated Cardiff 4-0 on Saturday and in doing so, made history by claiming a first ever South Wales derby double.

Two goals from Michael Obafemi and one-a-piece from Ben Cabango and Hannes Wolf, ensured the Swans took three points home and the first league double in the fixture’s 110-year history. They had already beaten Cardiff 3-0 in Swansea earlier this season before Saturday's comprehensive demolition.

Team chef Chris Watkins took to social media this morning to show off his new ink on his chest, which went down very well with Swansea players and fans alike.

Former Swansea right-back, Connor Roberts commented: “Love that Chefffffffff”. Ex-Swans superstar Andre Ayew also showed his approval.

He was joined by current Swansea midfielder Korey Smith, who simply commented “Jeeez,” followed by fire emojis.
