Swansea City boss Russell Martin insists he isn't paying any attention to links with other jobs, amid ongoing talks over a new contract at the club.
Martin is midway through a three-year deal at the Swansea.com Stadium, and has overseen a reasonably pleasing second season in charge, with the Swans firmly in the mix for a top-six finish ahead of the second half of the campaign.
Their progress has, perhaps unsurprisingly, seen Martin mentioned with several roles recently, with vacancies at Brighton and Hove Albion, Norwich City and Rangers all mooted as possibilities during his reign.
The 36-year-old is set to face the Canaries this weekend in Swansea's first game since the World Cup break, and has reiterated that success with the Swans remains his only thought.
“I will end up where I end up," he told the BBC when asked about his ambitions.
“People ring me all the time and say you are linked with this job or that, what are you thinking? I don’t care about that. It’s not on my radar. I would never come out and say I am going to be here for 10 years – I don’t know what’s going to happen.
“But if I am still here in 10 years and still enjoying it as much as I am now, I would be happy with that – and I don’t think that’s a lack of ambition.
“I think the biggest ambition you can have is to love what you are doing every day, because that’s not easy to attain. I am really fortunate to have that.”
Initial talks over a new deal were first held back in October. However, at the time of writing, there hasn't yet been a breakthrough in those discussions. Indeed, Martin himself has previously said he'd rather see duo Joel Latibeaudiere and Ryan Manning's contracts sorted before his own.
Speaking last month, he said: "They are the two most important bits of business we need to get done before we talk about January or my own contract, the most important thing is to sign those two boys and I hope we get it done pretty soon.
"We have a group of players we have an opportunity to build with, who are so young and so brave, and such amazing people personality-wise.
“The two of them should be a huge part of what the club want to build in terms of their profile, their character and what they produce on the pitch. Let's hope we get it sorted as quickly as possible.”
