Swansea City player ratings as three attackers make the difference after defensive wobble

ANDY FISHER 7

Didn't have a save to make in the first-half and found playing out from the back easy given the lack of pressure put on him. Not much he could do about the two Posh goals.

CYRUS CHRISTIE 7

Given licence to get further forwards, Christie caused plenty of problems on the right and was a rock defensively. Hit the post with a header before Michael Obafemi's second.

BEN CABANGO 6

Solid defensively as he snuffed out rare Peterborough attacks when required. Looked far more nervous after the restart though.

KYLE NAUGHTON 6

Composed at the back and had so much freedom at the base of his side's defence. However, he made a real mess of a clearance which led to Peterborough's second. Booked for a cynical foul late on.

KOREY SMITH 6

The 31-year-old played very high up the pitch and linked up play nicely. Subbed as Swansea went for a winner.

FLYNN DOWNES 6

Operating on the right of a back three, Downes had plenty of time on the ball throughout the first-half. But he was caught out a few times defensively, which is understandable to some extent.

MATT GRIMES 7

The captain was at the heart of Swansea's best play and wasn't afraid to be direct when needed given the poor condition of the pitch. Composed when the going got tough.

HANNES WOLF 6

Had a fine effort saved in the first-half and looked lively every time he cut in from the left. Link-up play was impressive. Should have scored on the hour mark to put Swansea back ahead and was brushed off the ball a few times when the hosts applied pressure.

JOEL PIROE 8

Worked tirelessly and played a part in creating chances for others. Won it at the death with a cool finish, his 17th strike of the campaign.

JAMIE PATERSON 8

Had an effort blocked in the first-half but constantly asked questions of the Peterborough defence. Sublime assist for Michael Obafemi's opener and should have had another for Wolf. Played a key role in Obafemi's second. Fine display.

MICHAEL OBAFEMI - Star Man 8

Had two big chances in the first-half before scoring from an acute angle to put the Swans ahead. Tapped home a second to equalise before being subbed. Top display.

Subs

Olivier Ntcham (for Smith) - Added a bit of quality in the Peterborough half. Had the initial shot that led to Piroe's winner. 6

Kyle Joseph (for Obafemi) - Ran hard in the final stages. N/A
