Swansea City were downed 2-1 by Burnley at the Swansea.com Stadium. Here's how Russell Martin's men rated:
STEVEN BENDA 5
Went more direct in the first half given Burnley's eagerness to press high up the pitch. Well beaten by Ian Maatsen's free-kick and will be bitterly disappointed not to do better with the Dutch attacker's second strike. Not the best with the ball when under pressure.
JOEL LATIBEAUDIERE 5
Made his fair share of defensive contributions but was quiet in the opposition half. Always took the safe option which frustrated the fans at times. Made a number of timely tackles, though.
HARRY DARLING 6
Had a really tough battle with Nathan Tella and was booked for a foul on the Burnley man early on. Generally solid, in fairness, and made some timely clearances.

BEN CABANGO 7
After a tricky start, Cabango grew in confidence, particularly in possession. Was always aggressive and showed courage to play forwards which some others didn't always do.
RYAN MANNING - star man 7
Always a threat on the left flank in the first half and defended well too. Indeed, he ended the match with eight tackles in a top defensive effort.
JOE ALLEN 7
Never shied away from a challenge and played such a key role in the middle of the park. Some good breaking runs and had efforts blocked in the first half, too. Understandably tired and was withdrawn.
JAY FULTON 6
Used his physicality well and had the shot that led to Ollie Cooper's goal in the first half. Subbed as Swansea went in search of an equaliser.
MATT GRIMES 6
Typically accurate and slick on the ball and put his body on the line when needed.
OLLIE COOPER 7
A real livewire and was in the right place to lash home his fourth goal of the campaign to get Swansea back into the contest. Contributed defensively too, thanks largely to his work-rate.
JOEL PIROE 5
Not for the want of trying, the Dutchman couldn't really get going in the first half as he was largely well marshalled by the Burnley defence. Didn't get a sniff in the second half.
LIAM CULLEN 6
Hit and miss in possession and could only fire straight at Arijanet Muric in the first half but his energy helped to keep Swansea on the front foot. Tired after the restart but tracked back defensively on numerous occasions to keep his side in with a shout.
Subs
Olivier Ntcham (for Allen) - Didn't really have an impact in the final third as Burnley controlled most of the second half. Couldn't test Muric at the death. 5
Luke Cundle (for Fulton) - Wasn't really able to contribute much given the Clarets' control. 5
Cameron Congreve (for Cullen) - Tried to make things happen and did well to tee up Ntcham in injury time. 6
