Swansea Airshow 2022 timings: When are the Red Arrows scheduled at the event?

The Wales Airshow is returning to Swansea for 2022 after the annual two-day event was cancelled both in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic. Those heading to the attraction, which sees thousands of people flock to the Swansea seafront each year, are in for a treat as the world-famous Red Arrows will be taking to the skies on both days.

It's been a busy time for the Red Arrows who marked the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with a spectacular RAF flypast before making an appearance at a range of events around the UK, including the Goodwood Festival of Speed and more recently the Weston Air Festival.

Their next event is the Wales Air Show, which takes place in Swansea Bay on Saturday, July 2 and Sunday, July 3. The Red Arrows, which is officially known as the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, is a massive hit at the event thanks to its trademark Diamond Nine shape and combination of close formations and precision flying. You can find out more about the Red Arrows here.

The airshow site will open at 10am and close at 6.30pm both days. Timetables of displays have now be confirmed, subject to weather conditions, but you'll have to download the official app to find them. Here's what what we know about the Red Arrows schedule.

Saturday, July 2: 1.50pm to 2.12pm

Sunday, July 3: 6pm to 6.22pm
