Gakpo has attracted interest from a host of clubs across Europe after registering 13 goals and 17 assists in 24 appearances for PSV Eindhoven in all competitions this term.

Interest in the Dutchman has increased further as his three goals at the World Cup have helped propel the Netherlands to the knockout stages.

Newcastle are among a multitude of clubs that have been scouting the 23-year-old in Qatar, although Manchester United have been heavily linked with the attacker.
