Can you believe it's March already? Me, either, but as I write this, Capcom Cup 11 has just kicked off in Japan. The mega e-sports tournament started on March 5, and will run through March 9. The final day's events will be dedicated to Street Fighter League: World Championship 2025, which is a major international event.
That's probably exactly why Suzuki teamed up with Capcom to create a very special one-off Street Fighter 6-themed GSX-8R that has currently made its worldwide debut at Capcom Cup 11. Incidentally, there's clearly more to this collaboration than just the bike, as Suzuki is also a key sponsor of the tournament this year.
But, I mean, it makes total sense. The GSX-8R in question is officially called "GSX-8R Tuned by JURI," referring to motorcycle-riding badass Street Fighter series character Juri Han. The graphics all draw inspiration from thematic throughlines that have evolved since Juri's first appearance, all the way back in Street Fighter IV.
The purple and black coloring, spider graphics, and even the Feng Shui engine embedded in the character's left eye are all part of the overall composition on this GSX-8R. If you're attending Capcom Cup 11, you can stop by the Suzuki booth at the event and take a photo with this bike. Will you get bonus points if you cosplay as Juri? Unclear, but it can't hurt!
In any case, if you stop by the display at the tournament, they'll also be giving away some delightful, limited-edition Suzuki x Street Fighter 6 collaboration items. As you'd expect, they're limited edition and first-come, first serve, so when they're gone, they're gone. You won't be able to buy them from Suzuki at the show, either; they're strictly meant to be given away (though of course, I'm sure someone will probably sell them secondhand later on).

What if you just want to see this bike, but aren't planning to attend Capcom Cup 11? No worries, because Suzuki will also be showing off this sweet GSX-8R at the three major Japanese motorcycle shows later this spring. If you'll be at the Osaka, Tokyo, or Nagoya Motorcycle Shows in 2025, you should be able to see this bike appear there as well.
