Celtic hero Chris Sutton says there are 'questions to be asked' of the club's recruitment department after the January transfer window.
The Parkhead side drafted in Jota and Jeffrey Schlupp last month, as the likes of Alex Valle, Stephen Welsh, Luis Palma, Odin Holm, and most notably, Kyogo Furuhashi all departed.
Off the back of the window, Sutton has major concerns about Celtic's recruitment department.
He also questioned what Paul Tisdale has brought to the club since being appointed Head of Football Operations in October: "There are questions to be asked about the recruitment process at Parkhead," said Sutton (RecordSport).

"Celtic have left it late a few times now, and it’s finally caught up with them.
"It would be handy to know what football doctor Paul Tisdale brought to the table? It’s not like he unearthed Jota, Tierney or Jeffrey Schlupp – who says he only got a call at 2pm on deadline day. Is the issue chief executive Michael Nicholson getting deals over the line?
"Why did Rodgers approve Kyogo’s sale if there were no guarantees over who was coming in? There seems to be an admittance things have not been quite right in that department but no apportioning of blame’s happened.
"Either way, it’s left Rodgers short."
The Celtic manager publicly stated his desire to sign a replacement for Furuhashi, but nothing came to fruition.
Adam Idah is now the Scottish Premiership champions' first-choice number nine, and in recent times, has more than stepped up to the plate, scoring four goals in his last three games.
Although there may be concerns off the park in terms of recruitment at Celtic, on the pitch, the team are flourishing and will look to take another step towards a treble when they face Raith Rovers in the Scottish Cup tonight.
