Chris Sutton says Celtic fans should be worried about Daizen Maeda's recent comments regarding his future.
The attacker has been in fine fettle for his side this season, scoring 28 goals across all competitions so far.
Such prolific form naturally garners attention, and although Maeda is contracted at Celtic until the summer of 2027, he was recently questioned on his future.

He was asked by Sky Sports: "You seem so settled, so for you, when you see other players leave, for you, is it Celtic for the long term?"
Maeda responded: "Well, I am not sure. That’s a difficult question. While I am here, I always want to fight and play for Celtic. I want to keep focusing and playing for the team."
Immediately responding to the comments live on Sky Sports, Sutton outlined his concerns. He said: "If I was a Celtic fan, then I would be slightly worried about that interview when he said that he ‘wasn’t sure’ about his future, just because of how important he is."
Maeda has taken his game up a notch since the unexpected mid-season departure of his compatriot, Kyogo Furuhashi.
Brendan Rodgers wasn't keen on using the Japan international as a number nine, although he has only flourished since regularly turning out as a central striker for Celtic.
Should his form maintain at its current level until the season's end, Maeda will be an undoubted contender for Scotland's Player of the Year award.
