Two suspects were charged after a police raid uncovered a cannabis farm worth more than £1m.
Merseyside Police officers raided a house on Wadham Road, Bootle yesterday morning, Tuesday, December 13. The officers, who carried out the raid as part of the police's Operation Pelican, found a cannabis farm over three floors.
Merseyside Police's cannabis dismantling team attended the property and seized 314 plants at various stages of growth. The farm's yearly yield was estimated at £1.25m.

Officers detained two men at the rear of the property. Two suspects have now been charged with production of cannabis. Landi Kotorri, 49, and Klajdi Lleshi, 29, were both denied bail.
The two men, both of Wadham Road, Bootle appeared before Liverpool Magistrates' Court this morning.
