A man has been charged in connection to an attack that left one man with serious injuries.
Alan Day has been charged after two men were assaulted, leaving one victim with a fractured eye socket and fractured cheek bone, and the other sustaining facial bruising. The incident happened at around 11.45pm, on Saturday, March 26, after the victims approached the front of a queue at Bar 54 on Seel Street.
They were refused entry by a member of door staff and racially abusive comments were then reportedly made towards them. Both men were then attacked.

The 34-year-old, of Wilbraham Street, Liverpoo l, has now been charged with racially aggravated section 20 assault; racially aggravated Section 39 assault; and Section 20 assault. He will appear at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens not guilty anticipated plea court, Derby on January 18.
A spokesperson for Merseyside police said: "Detectives have charged a man with racially aggravated assault following an incident earlier this year in Liverpool City Centre. At around 11.45pm on Saturday 26 March, the two victims approached the front of the queue at Bar 54 on Seel Street.
"They were refused entry by a member of door security and racially abusive comments were reportedly made towards them. Both men were subsequently assaulted, with one victim sustaining a fractured eye socket and fractured cheek bone, and the other sustaining facial bruising.
"Alan Day, 34, of Wilbraham Street, Liverpool has now been charged with Racially aggravated Section 20 assault; Racially aggravated Section 39 assault; and Section 20 assault. Day will appear at Liverpool Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 18 January 2023."
