A man forced his way into a neighbour's flat and threatened people living there.
Merseyside police said they were called to an incident on Palmerston Drive, Litherland, at around 10.30am on Thursday, June 29. It is alleged that a man with a knife broke into a neighbour's flat and made threats.
Christopher David Curran, 33, was charged in connection with the incident. Curran, of Palmerston Drive, was charged with threatening a person with an offensive weapon/bladed article/corrosive substance in a private place, assault by beating, using violence to gain entry and criminal damage.

He is due to appear before Wirral magistrates this morning, Friday, June 30.
A spokesperson for Merseyside police said: "A man has been charged following an incident in Litherland yesterday morning, Thursday 29 June. At around 10.30am we received a report that a man had forced entry to a neighbour's flat on Palmerston Drive while armed with a knife and made threats to the occupants.
"He then left the property and was arrested a short time later. The occupants were not injured from the incident.
"Christopher David Curran, 33 years, of Palmerston Drive, Litherland has been charged with threatening a person with an offensive weapon/bladed article/corrosive substance in a private place, assault by beating, use violence to gain entry and criminal damage. He is due to appear at Wirral Adult remand court this morning, Friday 30 June."
