A suspected drug dealer has been named as a man, 41, remains in police custody.
Officers from the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit, which includes Merseyside Police and Lancashire Police, carried out warrants in Skelmersdale and Kirkby on Wednesday, May 24 and arrested a number of people. Detectives from the team have now confirmed they have charged a man from Lancashire on suspicion of drug supply offences following the raids.
Thomas Whittaker, 41, of Brierfield, Skelmersdale has been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs. He remains in police custody.

He will appear at Manchester Magistrates Court tomorrow morning (Thursday, May 25).
