A suspect tried to run away when police found a huge cannabis farm.
Merseyside Police attended a property Linacre Lane in Bootle yesterday (March 29) and found a man as he tried to leave the address. He was stopped and officers searched the property, finding a cannabis farm spread over three floors.
The man was arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis. The farm was removed by specialist officers.

The arrest was part of Operation Pelican, which is an ongoing police campaign, launched in 2017 to combat the drug trade and gang violence in Bootle, Netherton, Litherland and the surrounding areas.
Sefton Police said: "Operation Pelican Officers have yesterday arrested a 20-year-old male for Production of Cannabis in the Bootle area.
"Officers attended a property on Linacre Lane where they located a male as he tried to leave the address. The male was arrested and upon Officers entering they located a large Cannabis Cultivation over three floors
"The Cultivation has now been removed by specialist Cannabis Dismantling Team Officers."
