A woman was stabbed in the head in Knowsley.
Police have confirmed they have now charged another woman after the victim, in her 50s, was slashed on High Street, Prescot. The victim suffered cuts to her head but her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The attack took place on Monday, May 29. Today, police have confirmed they have charged a woman in connection with the stabbing.

Kelly Anne Wilson, 44 years, of Beaconsfield, Prescot has been charged with Section 18 wounding with intent. She will appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Wednesday, June 28.
A spokesperson for Merseyside police said: "A woman from Prescot has been arrested and charged on suspicion of Section 18 wounding with intent. On Monday, May 29 it was reported that a woman in her 50s has been slashed, causing a laceration on the head at a property on High Street.
"She was taken to hospital and was treated for her injuries which are not life threatening. Kelly Anne Wilson, 44 years, of Beaconsfield, Prescot has been charged with Section 18 wounding with intent.
"She has been remanded into custody and will appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Wednesday, June 28."
