Police have named a suspect after a woman in her 50s was sexually assaulted in a park.
Merseyside Police received a report a woman in her 50s was was walking into Sutton Park at around 1.35pm on Monday, February 13, when she was approached by a man. She was reportedly sexually assaulted and reported the incident to police.
Officers have now arrested and charged 24-year-old Ehssan Delawar, of no fixed address, with sexual assault, section 47 assault and two counts of public order offences.

He has been remanded into custody and will appear at Wirral Magistrates Court tomorrow, Thursday, February 16.
A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: "Please be aware this is a live investigation. It is vital for members of the public to refrain from posting comments or speculation which may jeopardise this investigation.
"Once we have any updates we will share these with the community."
