Suspect Dead After Plowing Truck Into New Orleans Crowd

Authorities have confirmed that the suspect who drove a pickup truck into a large crowd in New Orleans, resulting in the deaths of at least 10 people and injuries to 30 others, is deceased.

The suspect was killed following an exchange of gunfire with police. It remains unclear whether the suspect was struck by an officer's bullet or if he took his own life. During the confrontation, two police officers were also shot.
