Susanna Reid has teased fans with a bold new look ahead of her return to Good Morning Britain.
The TV news anchor hid her long locks behind a bright multi-coloured Instagram filter before getting them chopped.
“Time to get this mop chopped,” she shared with her 600,000 followers while enjoying a break from her early-morning telly slot.
The 51-year-old shocked followers by using the ‘colour shift’ filter – turning her hair a bright pink and purple colour.
She has been absent from her regular stint presenting GMB on ITV – with some fans wondering where she has been for so long.

Susanna takes off the school holidays every year while her three children, Finn, Jack and Sam Cotton are still at school – enjoying a well-deserved break.
The telly journalist covered some major stories at the beginning of this year and is taking the summer off-screen.
Some of her shifts have been covered by Charlotte Hawkins, Ranvir Singh, and Kate Garraway who joined her co-host Richard Madeley.
Richard himself has just left show soon for a summer break of his own.

“I’ve got quite a big break in the summer,” he said on Sunday Brunch. "I’m going to France and then I’ll be back quite a lot in the autumn.”
Susanna will back on GMB after the school summer holidays and is thought to return on Monday, Septmeber 5 – ITV have not yet confirmed an exact date.
Richard’s departure comes as viewers are calling for his "breath of fresh air" replacement, Rob Rinder, to be a permanent fixture.
Judge Rinder star Rob made a welcome comeback after a long absence from the ITV morning show having last sat in the hot seat in March alongside Susanna.
But it appears viewers of the show were thrilled with the presenter switch up as they rushed to Twitter to share their reactions.

The TV lawyer’s return to screens prompted fans to make him a permanent presenting fixture.
One fan wrote: "#gmb can you please keep Rob Rinder?"
Another fan tweeted: "@GMB YAY Rob Rinder is back! Sooooo happy, love it when he is on. He's the best.”
A third said: "I like Rob Rinder. Funny, empathetic bit takes no sh** #gmb," while another echoed the sentiment: "Agree, be good if he was a regular presenter."
