Susanna Reid , 48, showed off her glowing natural beauty as she candidly shared honest before-and-after snaps ahead of her presenting stint on Good Morning Britain on Thursday.
The veteran presenter opened up about her beauty routine in her latest column for the Mail, where she admitted she wouldn't go on air without her "armour" on.
Susanna posted a split-screen image, one image of her taken at 4am and the other at 6am.
The left image offered a natural, make-up free Susanna smiling for the selfie, while the comparison right snap showed a more glamorous Susanna, after a trip to the GMB makeup and hairstyling team.
The mother-of-three captioned the snap: "You've got to fake it to make it…"
Loyal fans took to the comment section to praise Susanna on her honest post. One wrote: " like the 4am better. I'm not a lover of makeup."
While another shared: "Gorgeous with & without it."
Susanna confessed to the Mail readers that "make-up gives her a mask" and that her strict beauty regime includes dying her hair every fortnight and a weekly spray tan.
The star explained that she wanted to post barefaced selfies to offer some 'reality' to social media, which can often give the "wrong impression."
Admitting that she loves a pair of fake eyelashes, Susanna encouraged her followers to believe that 'fake' is a "badge of honour".
As she continued to reminisce about her early 20's and the freedom of wearing minimal make-up and rarely having a haircut, Susanna confessed that her "graduation photo shows bushy brows and a blotchy complexion".
Susanna's honest snaps aren't her only recent success.
The brunette beauty's candid post comes as she was recently awarded the Best TV Presenter and the best TV Personality categories at the Reality TV Awards in 2019 .
