Susanna Reid looks completely different on ITV Good Morning Britain after 'unsettling' change

Susanna Reid looked completely different as she sported a new look on Good Morning Britain - albeit only briefly. The presenter was back fronting the ITV news programme on Tuesday (January 24) alongside Ed Balls.

During the latest instalment, the pair were joined by showbiz correspondent Richard Arnold, who brought the hosts and viewers a segment on Emilia Clarke's eyebrows. It has been joked that the actress has the "hardest working eyebrows in Hollywood" due to them becoming animated when she speaks.

Fans spotted the display as the Game of Thrones star spoke to Variety at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival and was asked if she would be watching popular GoT prequel House of the Dragon. But instead of focusing on her answer, they couldn't help but notice her expression.

Commenting on GMB, Richard quipped: "Not many of us on this show can say our eyebrows move that far... Not sure why. I'm sure it's just soap and water." He then wondered what Susanna and Ed would look like if they were to sport Emilia's eyebrows when an image appeared on screen showing Susanna with her "new" look.

She appeared stunned - and unimpressed - by the change as Richard admitted: "That's a little unsettling" before bursting out laughing. Ed, however, appeared a little more impressed as Richard remarked: "It's not far off actually, Ed."

He also said he looked like Dennis Healy, the late British Labour politician, but Susanna said: "You'd need more eyebrows than that for Denis Healy."

It comes after Susanna left Lorraine Kelly gobsmacked as she revealed her potentially concerning habit. On Monday, after hosting the first edition of the show of the week, Susanna swapped the GMB studio to go and speak to Lorraine on her self-titled ITV show about sleep.

It came after the 52-year-old spoke about her morning routine which sees her being woken by a 3.45am alarm clock so that she can appear on air on GMB at 6am. She told the Daily Mail how napping is key. "I have no guilt around napping," she said. "Having a guilt-free nap is one of the enormous pleasures of my day," she added and suggested it was crucial when only getting around five hours of sleep each night

Appearing on Lorraine on Monday morning alongisde Dr Hilary Jones, Susanna ditched her green dress for a pair of pink and white pyjamas to discuss her tips for getting enough sleep. And in the process, she shocked Lorraine and Dr Hilary with her confession.

When Lorraine suggested that she relies on caffeine to get her through her stints on GMB and asked how many she regularly drinks, Susanna admitted: "I thought it was eight cups of coffee I have, but they told me it was nine in the green room this morning."

"Nine!? Susanna! Nine!? Lorraine, 63, replied as Hilary said it was 'a lot of caffeine. "How do you have a nap with nine coffees?" Lorraine then asked as Susanna clarified: "I don't drink a full mug of coffee. It's just a few sips and they're brilliant in the green room, aren't they? They just keep them coming."
