Susanna Reid was left apologising for her co-star's awkward blunder live on-air during Monday morning's episode of Good Morning Britain.
The presenter, 52, was hosting the ITV show alongside former politician Ed Balls, 56, when he made an identity error.
As usual, the hosts kicked off the show by discussing the latest headlines, including the BAFTA TV Awards which was held on Sunday night.
Susanna was one of the many celebrities in attendance at the glitzy event, where she stunned on the red carpet.
GMB showbiz correspondent Richard Arnold was also at the award ceremony as he chatted to stars ahead of the show.
When the co-workers bumped into each other Richard joked Susanna was there to "fill in" incase he ran out of A-Listers to chat to.
Susanna was joined by actor Damien Lewis, 52, in the clip, much to the confusion of Ed.
"Was that Benedict Cumberbatch you were with?," he asked, leaving Susanna looking gobsmacked.
She quickly responded: "No, that was Damian Lewis."
"In that case move on," Ed quipped.
Susanna said: "Sorry Damian, if you're not Benedict Cumberbatch he doesn't want anything to do with you."
Ed agreed: "Nothing."
The biggest night in UK television saw Ben Whishaw bag the leading actor award for BBC One's This is Going to Hurt.
Elsewhere on the night, Bad Sisters bagged best drama series and its star Anne-Marie Duff won supporting actress for her performance on the show.
Supporting actor was won by Adeel Akhtar for BBC's Sherwood.
Kate Winslet was left in tears as she accepted the award for leading actress for drama I Am Ruth as she was stunned when her name was called.
The actress was joined by her daughter and co-star Mia Threapleton, 22, who also broke down in tears as she congratulated her mum.
The mum and daughter shared an emotional hug and kiss, before Kate went up on stage to collect her award.
As she took to the microphone, Kate joked: "Guaranteed to be the only one of the night to cry."
She also gushed over her daughter, saying she wishes she could "cut the BAFTA in half".
Kate grabbed hold of her award and said: "If I could cut this in half, I would give the other half to my daughter Mia Threapleton. We did this together kiddo."
Mia could be seen in her seat crying and blew multiple kisses to her mum on stage before calling out: "I love you."
