Susan Boyle left Britain's Got Talent fans stunned on Sunday night, as she made a shock return to the show and then revealed she'd suffered a major health setback last year, suffering what she described as a 'mini-stroke.'
It was back in 2009, that Scottish singer Susan, who declared she wanted to be 'as big as Elaine Paige' blew everyone away with her rendition of Les Miserables classic I Dreamed A Dream. As well as the judges' jaws dropping over her performance, Susan soon became a star the world over, as her audition racked up millions and millions of views on YouTube.
After sailing through to the semi finals 14 years ago, Susan was the clear favourite to win Britain's Got Talent that year but, after reports that she'd been struggling behind the scenes, she ended up being beaten by 2009 champions Diversity.

Susan last made an appearance on BGT in 2019, when she duetted with Michael Ball in that year's final and she sprung even more of a surprise this time round, as she joined stars from the West End smash Les Miserables to perform as votes were counted to determine this year's Britain's Got Talent result.
After performing a duet of I Dream A Dream, Susan spoke briefly to hosts Ant and Dec and it was during the chat, that she revealed that being back on stage was all the more special for her, after she suffered a mini-stroke last year, something that was never reported at the time.
As Simon Cowell spoke to Susan, he told her he knew she'd be unwell, so was thrilled to see her back in the spotlight.
