Presenting live news is not an easy job and there are sometimes mishaps. BBC news presenter Lukwesa Burak experienced this when she was caught off-guard and mid-stretch when the cameras returned to her unexpectedly.
The blunder occurred as newsreader Lukwesa Burak introduced a segment away from the studio, saying: "Around the world and across the UK, this is BBC News." However, the screen prematurely cut back to the studio just as the newsreader lifted up both her arms, in what appeared to be a stretch, as she said: "Okay."
Lukwesa soon realised the cameras had cut back to her and brought her arms back down quickly before sitting in silence for 30 seconds. The problems continued when Lukewesa tried to carry on with the show as another technical blunder meant viewers could not understand what she was saying.
Lukwesa responded to the awkward moment, as she Tweeted: "Thank you folks: Colleagues - present & former, and all you wonderful viewers. X" as she seemed to joke she had lost her job since the incident. Lukwesa's career has included presenting for Sky News and BBC East Midlands.

Maitlis explained the trepidation she felt as she made her way to the Buckingham Palace ballroom where the meeting had been due to take place. She said: "I arrived at the palace with my huge bag. I ended up wearing this sort of military-style jacket," reports the MEN.
"I remember thinking he’ll like a military coat, he’s a man of the armed forces, he’ll appreciate that and then I start to feel actually just really sick and I sort of dived into the loo. I had to deal with the fact that I was about to ask this man, this royal, this prince about his sex life. I was thinking, ‘How do I not mess this up?'”
