Chelsea supporters have questioned Graham Potter's decision to start Ruben Loftus-Cheek and leave Mateo Kovacic and Denis Zakaria on the bench against Arsenal for today's crunch Premier League clash.
Loftus-Cheek was named in the starting XI alongside Mason Mount and Jorginho in midfield, replacing midweek's match-winner Zakaria. There were two other changes from the side that defeated Dinamo Zagreb with Thiago Silva replacing Kalidou Koulibaly and Marc Cucurella in for the injured Ben Chilwell.
Kovacic and Zakaria were both named on the bench, alongside Koulibaly, Conor Gallagher, Christian Pulisic and Armando Broja. There was also a place for former Gunners striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in attack - his first appearance against Mikel Arteta's side since leaving earlier this year.

It's unclear whether Chelsea will line up with a back four or a back three. The club's team graphic hints at a back three with Loftus-Cheek at right wing-back, although it is highly likely that Cucurella could be playing as left-back and Cesar Azpilicueta at right-back.
Despite the uncertainty of how Potter is lining his team up, some Chelsea supporters have expressed their frustrations at Kovacic's exclusion in midfield after the Croatian's string of impressive performances. Here's what they have had to say...
@_TheFeatherman: I think there is an agenda for Potter to be starting RLC when Kovacic is available.
@ForeverBlue_07: Why would you bench Kovacic, our best midfielder?
@TweetChelseaUK: No Kovacic is surprising
@CfcSheikh: Strange team. Why bench Kovacic?
@firmCruise: Loftus Cheek in that midfield again? How much is he paying Potter?
@cfconthedaily: WHY DROP ZAKARIA AFTER THAT PERFORMANCE?
@Dniel_Rojis: Maybe you wanna bring in Kovacic after our midfield gets dominated
