Supreme Court Rejects Challenges To Voter Registration And Election Claims

The Supreme Court declined to hear a challenge from Republican state lawmakers in Pennsylvania regarding a Biden administration executive order aimed at increasing voter registration. The Republicans alleged that the order was unconstitutional and interfered with the November election, but lower courts had already dismissed the lawsuit. Despite requests from nine Republican secretaries of state and 11 members of Congress, the Supreme Court chose not to expedite the case back in May.

In addition to this decision, the Supreme Court also rejected two appeals related to unfounded claims made by Republicans about Dominion Voting Systems. One appeal involved a Pennsylvania county questioning a state high court ruling on voting machines, while the other appeal centered on allegations that Dominion attempted to silence individuals across the country.

These developments mark the latest chapter in the ongoing legal battles surrounding the 2020 presidential election. The Supreme Court's decisions to not take up these cases reinforce the outcomes reached by lower courts and uphold the integrity of the election process. While some continue to challenge the results, the legal system remains steadfast in addressing these claims based on evidence and legal merit.
