South Lanarkshire Council is offering employment support to vulnerable youths.
Their 'supported employment' team is accepting last-minute applications from 16-24-year olds who are out of work and have additional support needs.
Applications for Project EmployAbility close on Friday (March 25) and successful applicants will receive a training allowance as well as working online on employability skills before progressing on to work placements.
Applicants will then go onto paid employment where the employer will be subsidised 100 per cent for up to six months.

The 'community support team' can also offer help to those who are over 16 and have a mild to moderate physical or learning disability – a range of advice and support is available to access.
The support available includes: day opportunities, training and employment opportunities, independent living and living in the community, advocacy and short breaks and respite care.
The 'community support team' can also provide support for your family or carers.
There are also six day care centres in South Lanarkshire for adults with learning disabilities; those are in Carluke, East Kilbride, Eastfield, Fairhill, Lanark and Stonehouse.
In each centre, there is a range of programmes and activities including sport and exercise opportunities, creative and cultural pursuits, support with personal care, continuing educational opportunities and support with independence.
