Food and Civil Supplies Minister G.R. Anil has said the Supplyco Vishu, Easter and Ramzan fairs will be held in all district centres from April 11 to May 3. The State-level inauguration will be held in Thiruvananthapuram on April 11.
According to Mr. Anil, the fairs will play a major role in market intervention by negating the impact of price rise of essential commodities owing to increasing petroleum prices. In addition to Sabari products, subsidised and non-subsidised items will be provided through the Supplyco outlets. While the Vishu, Easter and Ramzan fairs will be held in cities and towns, mobile Maveli stores will tour villages.
