Barry Manilow signs for exclusive lifetime Vegas residency

Legendary pop superstar Barry Manilow in September 2023 broke Elvis Presley's record of 636 sold-out shows in the International Theater at Westgate Las Vegas just off the Strip, which had previously been the Las Vegas Hilton and International Hotel when Elvis performed.

Manilow has since shattered the record that Elvis set, though the King of Rock and Roll set his original record in just seven years between 1969 and 1976. The "Copacabana" singer has been performing in the International Theater for over 19 years since February 2005. He also performed shows at Paris Las Vegas on the Strip.

More Las Vegas:

It seems like Manilow will never stop performing at the Westgate, and that might be the case, as the "Mandy" singer accepted a lifetime residency at the casino's 1,582-seat International Theater, Pollstar reported.

“Barry Manilow is a generational artist and a dear friend,” Westgate Founder and Executive Chairman David Siegel said in a statement. “Over the years, we have built a personal and professional relationship that is truly special, and I am honored to offer Barry the opportunity to perform at Westgate for a lifetime.”

Barry Manilow could perform shows outside of Las Vegas

“It’s been an incredible journey performing at the International Theater,” Manilow said in the Westgate statement. “David Siegel and the Westgate team have been like family to me, and I am deeply grateful to have the opportunity to call Westgate home for the rest of my career.”

Under the lifetime agreement, Manilow will not perform at any Las Vegas casino other than the Westgate for the remainder of his career, but he could do another tour or perform at other venues outside of Las Vegas.

Manilow in summer 2024 performed what he called his "Last Shows" tour, but that might not have been his last tour. In November 2014, he also performed his "One Last Time" tour from Feb. 11 through June 17, 2015, but it obviously was not his last tour as he continued touring afterward.

Manilow's "One Last Time" tour should not be confused with Rod Stewart's "One Last Time" farewell tour that begins in March 2025.
