Supernanny's verdict on how Duchess of Cambridge handled Prince Louis during Jubilee celebrations

Supernanny Jo Frost has given her verdict on how the Duchess of Cambridge handled Prince Louis during the Queen's Platinum Jubile celebrations. It comes after Prince Louis grabbed a lot of attention during the weekend of events.

Prince William and Kate Middleton's youngest child, four-year-old Louis, entertained the nation with his reactions and hand gestures throughout the event. At one point he was seen covering his mother's mouth as she was talking to him.

Manchester Evening News reports that Louis also shook his finger at Kate and blew her a raspberry. The Duchess was looked on in admiration by many parents for staying calm but she also attracted the attention of Supernanny.

The parenting guru, Jo Frost, commented on a video of the prince misbehaving, which was shared on Hello! Magazine's Instagram page. She too praised Kate, saying: "Love how mum is addressing in public, Prince Louis needing to listen up and do as his [sic] told."

But not everyone took kindly to her comment. "He’s been listening and doing as he’s told for days," said one. "He’s a 4 year old, not a prop!!!"

Another added: "He's a 4 year old boy that's been stuck in a suit for 4 days & told to do as he's told. He's probably bored out of his mind too... I think the little guy did well if you ask me!!"

Despite the Prince's behaviour attracting some negative comments over the weekend, hundreds of people commented on the Instagram post, with many praising the young boy and his parents. Heather Hobbs (heatherington_hhvs) said: "This is hysterical and Kate handles it perfectly!!!!! It’s been a long and busy four days of celebrations…hats off to W&K doing so incredibly well & also with three kids!!"
