Supernanny gives her verdict on how Duchess of Cambridge dealt with Prince Louis

Prince Louis, four, stole the show at his great-grandmother's Platinum Jubilee.

The youngest of Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge's three children, Louis found different ways to keep himself entertained at the celebratory events. He was made to sit and watch as the nation enjoyed an array of displays including Trooping the Colour and a RAF flyover.

While the noisy jets flew over Buckingham Palace, the young royal covered his ears with both hands. At one point the youngster even covered his mother's mouth as she attempted to speak to him, shook his finger at her and blew her a raspberry.

Most people complimented his mum, Kate, as she managed to keep her cool with her mischievous son. But one person who took note of how the mum interacted with her child was Channel 4's Supernanny - Jo Frost.

The parenting guru was spotted commenting on a video of little Louis which was shared on Hello! Magazine's Instagram page. She also complimented Kate as she said: "Love how mum is addressing in public prince Louis needing to listen up and do as he's told."

But fans were not impressed and not all agreed with Supernanny as they exclaimed that despite being a royal Louis is still just a normal four-year-old boy. Jessica said: "@jofrost he’s been listening and doing as he’s told for days! He’s a 4-year-old, not a prop!!!"

Another user said: "@jofrost He's a 4-year-old boy that's been stuck in a suit for four days & told to do as he's told. He's probably bored out of his mind too... I think the little guy did well if you ask me!!" Meanwhile, Sarah said: "@jofrost He’s a child. You of all people should know a four year old wants and needs to have stimulation, let off steam, move about, be a child."
