DOZENS of supermarkets have been forced to close across Scotland as a result of Storm Eowyn.
ScotRail have already cancelled all services while hundreds of schools across the country are also shut.

Tesco
Tesco stores in parts of Scotland will close amid the “danger to life” warning with 100mph winds expected.
Customers received messages and emails informing them stores would shut and home deliveries and click and collect services were also cancelled.
Shoppers have been urged to check its website for information.
Sainsbury’s
Sainsbury’s also said it would close stores in significantly impacted parts of Scotland between 7am and 6pm.
It said this was to “ensure safety of customers and colleagues” and that customers with cancelled groceries will be contacted directly.
M&S
M&S had said it would be shutting its store in Braehead shopping centre during Storm Eowyn as well as its Foodhall in Anniesland in Glasgow.
The Braehead store will shut between 10am and 5pm today while the store in Anniesland will close between 9am and 6pm but open again from 6pm until 8pm.
Asda
Asda has announced the closure of a number of stores due to the storm.
A spokesperson for the company said: "Due to the Met Office warning of extreme weather today, and the issuing of red weather alerts across Scotland, Northern Ireland, we have taken the decision to close some of our stores until it is safe to reopen.
"The safety of our colleagues and customers is paramount, so all Asda stores in Northern Ireland have been closed from 6am today, until it is safe to reopen. Scottish stores in the worst-hit regions will be closed from 9am.
"This also means that our grocery home shopping and click-and-collect services scheduled today have been cancelled. Our teams will contact any affected customers directly.
"We thank all our customers and colleagues for their understanding and advise everyone to follow Met Office guidance for their area."

Lidl
A spokesperson for Lidl said: "Due to the red weather warnings, and to ensure the safety of customers and colleagues, we have closed Lidl stores in the affected areas in Scotland between 10am and 5pm.
"However, we will continue to monitor the situation."
