Supermarket jobs at Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, Aldi and Lidl you can apply for right now in Wales

It's a new year and many people across Wales are looking to start the year with a change in career - whilst others are looking to take on extra hours at their workplace or start a second job to help them face spiralling energy bills and the chaos that has come with the cost of living crisis.

Several supermarkets in Wales are recruiting stock assistants, store assistants, delivery drivers and cleaners whilst others are recruiting shift managers, store managers and other senior-level roles. We've scoured through the jobs sites for each of the big six supermarkets to bring our readers the latest list of job vacancies. We wish everyone applying for a new job the best of luck.

Tesco

Several Tesco supermarkets in Wales and a few OneStop convenience stores (owned by the Tesco company) are looking for new staff members at a range of levels. Store managers are required at Tesco supermarkets in Caerphilly, Swansea, Newport and Cardiff and at OneStop in Usk, Monmouthshire.

Tesco stores in the Cardiff area are also recruiting shift leaders, delivery drivers and staff for their cafes and phone shops, whilst in the Swansea area there are vacancies in the cafe and pharmacy dispensary - as well as several opportunities for temporary delivery drivers. There's also several customer service assistant and shift leader vacancies at OneStop stores in Port Tennant (Swansea), Sully and Llamrumney.

Asda

Asda is recruiting for a range of positions at several of its stores. In management and supervisor roles, the supermarket chain is looking for a trading manager, "designate night section manager" and section leader at its Cardiff Coryton store, a food hall trading manager at its Swansea Llansamlet store and a section leader at its Caerphilly store.

The company is also recruiting for pharmacists at its Caerphilly and Newport stores and for a cleaner, customer delivery driver, security staff and night-time store assistant for its Cardiff Bay store.

Sainsbury's

Sainsbury's is actively recruiting staff at management level at several of its stores. The supermarket chain is looking for a lead customer experience manager at its Pontypridd store, a customer experience manager at its Newport store and a deputy store manager at its Swansea store.

There's also vacancies for a customer and trading manager (night-shift) in Newport, a store manager at the Sainsbury's Local Barry Park and a customer and trading manager at Sainsbury's Local Caerleon. There's also a trading assistant vacancy at Sainsbury's Bridgend.

Morrisons

At the time of writing, there were no vacancies at Morrisons stores in Wales listed on the supermarket's website. So, if you're interested in working at a Morrisons store, keep checking the website here.

Aldi

There's a long list of vacancies at Aldi stores in Wales. If you're looking for a role in management, the supermarket is looking for new store managers in the Cardiff area and Newport area, as well as an assistant store manager in the Newport area.

There's also vacancies for cleaners, stock assistants, store assistants and store management apprentices at Aldi stores in Blackwood, Caerphilly, Culverhouse Cross, Cwmbran, Gabalfa (Cardiff), Llantrisant, Newport and Tir-Y-Berth.

Lidl

Lidl is recruiting for a range of roles, many of which are part-time. The supermarket is looking for customer assistants to work 16, 20, 25-30 and 30 hours per week at its stores in Cardiff and is also recruiting a shift manager to work 30 hours a week at its store in Pontypridd.

There are also vacancies for a deputy store manager at a Lidl store in Newport and for a deputy store manager and shift manager at a Lidl store in Cardiff.
