A supermarket giant will bring a unique festive treat to its Ayrshire stores.
Morrisons will give shoppers with a sweet tooth the chance to tuck into special doughnuts this Christmas.
The grocery chain, which boasts stores across the region, has launched chocolate orange doughnuts which bosses predict will fly off the shelves.
Inspired by the cult Christmas chocolate, the doughnuts contain a zesty chocolate orange filling, are dipped in chocolate and then drizzled with white chocolate.
The delightful doughnuts will be made at in-store bakeries every day. With each treat featuring a chocolate orange segment nestled on top.
Customers can pick up the new festive treats for £2 for a pack of three - less than 70p each.
Jacob Cox, In-Store Bakery Manager at Morrisons, said: “We know our customers love all things chocolate orange, and when we added the flavour to our sugared doughnuts last year they were a complete sell out.
"We’ve brought the popular combo back for this Christmas and made it even better by adding chocolate icing and a chocolate orange segment.”
Also hitting the shelves as part of the festive bakery line up will be Giant Chocolate Orange Brownie, Chocolate Orange Gateau, Vanilla Cheesecake with Chocolate Orange and Fresh Cream Mince Pies.
All the items will be available from December 12.
