A supercomputer is predicting that Manchester City will suffer a disappointing Premier League season in 2022/23.
The current Premier League champions were pushed all the way by Liverpool last season with only one point separating the two clubs at the end of the campaign. Two goals by Ilkay Gundogan either side of a Rodri strike saw Pep Guardiola's team come from behind to beat Aston Villa 3-2.
Jurgen Klopp's side will no doubt be looking for revenge and having sent the new fixture list through Reach's supercomputer, it looks as though they will achieve it. The Merseyside club have a remarkable 71 per cent chance of winning the league next season, according to the data, with City flailing with just a 24 per cent chance of retaining their title.

On a brighter note for City, they are nailed on to finish in the Champions League places following the supercomputer's calculations. The Blues and Liverpool have both been adding to their squad's this summer in the hopes of improving.
Guardiola has notably added Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez to his squad. Meanwhile Darwin Nunez has arrived for Klopp but their talisman in recent years Sadio Mane has left to join Bayern Munich.
