A supercomputer has predicted Liverpool to finish outside of the Premier League's top four at the end of the season despite five wins in a row.
Liverpool have not missed out on a spot in the Champions League since 2016, but a poor season means Newcastle United and Manchester United are likely to replace the Reds.
There is talk around a late push for the top four for Jurgen Klopp's side after recording five wins on the bounce for the first time this term, but the Reds have given Newcastle and Man United too much of a lead.

A Mohamed Salah penalty was enough for Liverpool to take all three points in their match against Fulham at Anfield on Wednesday ngiht.
Third place Newcastle have won their last three matches and hold a six point lead over the Reds as they look to cement their first Champions League spot since 2002.
Erik ten Hag's side have shown signs of stuttering and face a tricky test away to Brighton and Hove Albion and West Ham United in their next two fixtures. However, even if they were to lose those two games, Liverpool would still be four points adrift with just four to play.
Football analytical site FiveThirtyEight give the Reds just a 12% chance of breaking into the top four. Newcastle have been given a 95% chance while Man United have a 90% chance.
The Reds are 66% likely to finish in fifth place and secure a spot in the Europa League for next season with high-flying Brighton rivalling Liverpool for that spot as the supercomputer gives them a 16% chance.
