Arsenal have been handed a 63% chance of winning this season's Premier League title, with the Gunners now firm favourites to bring league glory to north London for the first team in almost two decades.
Leading atatisticians FiveThirtyEight have listed Arsenal as being favourites to win the league, with Man City still having a 36% chance in what is set to become a fascinating two team title race before the end of the season.
Manchester United had appeared to have entered the title race when they drew level with City following a win in the Manchester derby. However, a draw against Crystal Palace followed by their thrilling 3-2 defeat at the Emirates on Sunday means that they now have just a 1% chance of winning the league.

One important consideration at present is the fact that Arsenal are yet to play against City, with two matches to play against the defending champions between now and the end of the season. The first meeting comes in a midweek fixture on Wednesday, February 15 with City hoping to cut the current five point deficit to the Gunners before then.
Winning the title will have been little more than a dream for many Arsenal fans in the past decade, with recent struggles quickly being put behind them this season. However, there is now a tangible chance of winning the famous trophy for the first time since Arsene Wenger's invincible season in 2003/04.
In addition to the pride of winning the league, there is a huge financial boost for whoever tops the Premier League in May, with Stan Kroenke likely to have one eye on the financial boost. The Premier League winners will net over £160 million in prize money and this will be a huge financial boost in a highly competitive market for the Gunners and their American owners.
