Leeds United have been tipped to survive in the Premier League this season by the narrowest of margins. FiveThirtyEight’s supercomputer - which uses statistical information and detailed data analysis to calculate how the Premier League table will finish in May – thinks Leeds will end the season in 14th place, but only three points above the bottom three.
The Whites are predicted to finish the campaign on 41 points, with the bottom three consisting of Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth and Wolves. The latter of those three finishing the season on 39 points.
This could worry Leeds United supporters who had hoped to avoid a repeat of last season. There's been signs of encouragement over the past few months, but it's a results-based business.

Jesse Marsch's side have taken just nine points from 10 games, winning just twice and drawing three times. They've lost four of their last five Premier League fixtures, with important games against Fulham and Bournemouth on the horizon.
Leeds also have to play Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur before the winter break. The Supercomputer is giving the Whites a 23 per cent chance of relegation with a less than one per cent chance of winning the league or qualifying for Europe.
