Jack Kennedy has said it is ‘back to business’ as the 2023 British Superbike Championship resumes at Snetterton this weekend.
Kennedy has filled the time between Superbike rounds by replacing the injured Andrea Mantovani for last weekend’s World Supersport round at Donington Park. The Dubliner performed impressively on the World stage but is now fully focused on this weekend's action at Snetterton.
Kennedy is fully recovered from the injuries sustained in the crash and is targeting a return to the top 10 aboard his Yamaha Racing bike.

"The injuries are all good and I feel fully recovered after having a bit of a break since Knockhill,” Kennedy said.
“I also got the ride in the World Supersport Championship which was good. It kept me ticking over and gave me some bike time before this weekend. I enjoyed the experience, and the most important thing was getting some bike time.
“I felt good on the bike and didn’t feel any niggles from the injuries I picked up at Knockhill. I am now fully focused on returning to the British Superbike Championship and I can’t wait to get back on the R1 and working with the Mar-Train Yamaha Racing team again.
“I have enjoyed a lot of success at Snetterton in the past, and Mar-Train Yamaha Racing have also had success there. We won the Supersport title there last year.
“So, I have good memories of it and the weather should be good as well. I am looking forward to the longer lap, compared to Knockhill.
The Dublin native currently sits 10th in the BSB standings having amassed 61 in an impressive campaign.
"It is so competitive, and you need to be at 110 per cent in every race. It is tough but we have shown signs of what we can do, and there is so much more to come,” he added.
“We want to be getting top 10 finishes again and that will be the target this weekend. We have already proved we can compete at the front end.
“We have been outside the top 10 in the last couple of races and we don’t want to be there. We want to get back to the form we showed at Silverstone.
“So, this weekend the aim is three top 10s, and we won’t be happy with anything less.”
Mar-Train Yamaha Racing Team Manager Tim Martin echoes Kennedy’s bullish approach, with a return to the top 10 a big target this weekend.
He said: “It is great to get back to British Superbike action, and at a track we have enjoyed success at in the past.
“We are hoping to have a good run this weekend. The R1 package is proven around Snetterton, and we genuinely want to get into the top 10 on our own merit.
“We want to continue progressing and building and hopefully we can do that as the weekend unfolds. Jack had a ride in the World Supersport Championship, so he has had some track time to keep him ticking over.
“Hopefully he can jump back onto the Superbike and enjoy a good weekend. Everything is in place for a positive weekend so we can’t wait.
“We are confident of giving a good account of ourselves so it’s all systems go.”
“I am looking forward to the speeds we will clock up on the two long straights. I am excited about it.”
