Nottingham Forest star Brennan Johnson is shining in a new role for the Wales national team.
The 21-year-old played in midfield for his country as they lost 2-1 to Belgium on Thursday evening and, despite the defeat, Wales boss Rob Page was full of praise for Johnson.
Page even compared Johnson's new role to that of Kevin De Bruyne and Eden Hazard, saying the Forest man was a "threat" in those positions as they play to his strengths. That will be music to the ears of Reds head coach Steve Cooper as he prepares to welcome his players back from the international break.

"He's been superb," Page told WalesOnline. "Honestly, he's come on so much in such a short time. I've asked something different from him tonight, I asked him to play as a midfielder, but when we get the ball we can find him in those pockets where Kevin De Bruyne and Eden Hazard pick the ball up.
"When you see him run with the ball, it's brilliant isn't it. That's his game, that's his strength. He always looked a threat for us every time he got on the ball."
Johnson will be in action again on Sunday when they face Poland in Nations League action at the Cardiff City Stadium. He will return to Forest for the game away at Leicester City on Monday, October 3.
