Nintendo announced Monday that the second Super Mario Bros. Movie trailer is coming out later this week, giving fans another chance to warm up to Chris Pratt’s spin on the titular plumber.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie‘s next trailer premieres on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. PDT // 5:00 P.M. EDT // 10:00 P.M. GMT as part of the latest Nintendo Direct. It’ll be available on Nintendo’s official YouTube channel here. The company also stated that there will be no video game-related announcements during this broadcast.
No other details regarding the teaser are available, but Nintendo gave us a brand-new movie poster. It depicts what we can safely assume is Princess Peach’s castle — the Super Mario 64 vibes are strong.

The first Super Mario Bros. Movie trailer went over reasonably well with most series diehards. Jack Black’s performance as Bowser won people over fast, though the reception wasn’t so glowing for Pratt. There’s been a lot of trepidation regarding Pratt’s casting as Mario. However, Illumination CEO and the film’s producer Chris Meledandri insisted Pratt gave “a strong performance” during every recording session.
We’ve yet to hear Keegan-Michael Key, Anya Taylor-Joy, or Charlie Day as Toad, Princess Peach, and Luigi, respectively – though that could change relatively soon.
