Super Bowl LIX: What time does pre-game coverage begin Sunday?

The Kansas City Chiefs will face the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX from New Orleans on Sunday, Feb. 9. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET, with FOX broadcasting the game to a national audience.

In the lead up to the Super Bowl, several television networks will have hours of pre-game coverage for NFL fans to consume before kickoff.

Here’s a quick look at the scheduled pre-game coverage of Super Bowl LIX on Sunday:

NFL Network

Begins: 9:30 a.m. ET
Ends: 6:30 p.m. ET

“NFL GameDay Morning” will run from 9:30 a.m. ET to 5:30 p.m. ET before the network carries an hour of the “Super Bowl’s Greatest Commercials 2025” leading into kickoff.

FOX

Begins: 1:00 p.m ET
Ends: 6:30 p.m. ET (kickoff)

From FOX: “On Super Bowl Sunday, FOX broadcasts five-and-a-half hours of pregame coverage beginning at 1:00 PM ET with FOX SUPER BOWL LIX PREGAME live from three separate locations, including the FOX Sports set on New Orleans’ iconic Bourbon Street.”

Cast: Curt Menefee (host), Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, Michael Strahan, Jimmy Johnson, Rob Gronkowski and Jay Glazer.

ESPN

Starts: 10:00 a.m. ET
Ends: 2:00 p.m. ET

From ESPN: “The network’s Super Bowl Sunday programming will feature a special four-hour ‘Postseason NFL Countdown’ with Mike Greenberg and the crew.”
