The Super Bowl is about theatrics and storylines, and Travis Kelce just made himself front and center.
A Chiefs Three-Peat could set the stage for Kansas City’s star tight end to potentially retire this offseason. Ian Rapoport says Kelce still hasn’t decided whether to play in 2025.

Kelce is expected to take time after the Super Bowl to consider his future and decide before free agency officially begins on March 12.
Rapoport reports that Kelce’s decision could hinge on the results of Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
During Super Bowl LIX Opening Night, Kelce said, “We’ll see what happens. I know I’ve been setting myself up for other opportunities in my life. That’s always been the goal, knowing that football only lasts for so long.”
This season, Kelce posted his lowest yardage total (823) and fewest touchdown catches (three) since his rookie season 2013. Showing that he shines best when the lights are brightest, Kelce had 117 yards and a score against the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round.
Kelce has options, and his New Heights podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother Jason, just inked a $100 million deal.
