Super Bowl 2025 predictions: Chiefs-Eagles winner and exact score from our brilliant staff

The 2025 Super Bowl is here, with the Kansas City Chiefs looking to three-peat in the NFL title game and the Philadelphia Eagles hoping to win their second title in the past eight years.

So it’s time for the brilliant staff here at For The Win to make our predictions for the winner and exact score we’ll see on Sunday in the 59th Super Bowl. Are most of us thinking the Chiefs will do it again or that the Eagles will pull the upset?

Here we go, with the prediction and explanation from our writers and editors ahead of the Super Bowl:

Chiefs, 34-28

Existence is pain. — Blake Schuster

Eagles, 85-0

I lose nothing by picking this team and this score even when both won’t happen. There are no stakes here. Nothing matters. — Robert Zeglinski

Chiefs, 27-25

The Chiefs have shown some weaknesses this season. But in the postseason, it’s been business as usual. If Saquon Barkley doesn’t go off for at least 150 yards, it’s over for the Eagles, and I worry if the Eagles have to lean on the passing game. It’ll be a close one, but the Chiefs three-peat is happening. — Charles Curtis

Chiefs, 41-35

The Chiefs always pull off some wild sorcery, and I don’t expect anything less. Also, you don’t bet against Big Red and that man Patrick Mahomes. Just don’t. If there is anyone who can make history with the NFL’s first three-peat, it’s them. Prepare to be sick of the Chiefs. — Meghan L. Hall

Eagles, 30-21

I do not accept this narrative that the Chiefs are destined to win. Hope for better, my good friends. Saquon Barkley is the truth. Accept that into your hearts. And most importantly, GO BIRDS! — Mary Clarke

Eagles, 25-22

The Eagles have the advantage everywhere but coaching, quarterback and kicker, which… wait hold on. — Christian D’Andrea

Chiefs, 25-22

The Chiefs are inevitable. — Andrew Joseph

Eagles, 31-27

This is Jalen Hurts’ moment. — Michelle Martinelli

Chiefs, 27-24

The Eagles are fantastic team, they really are. I have nothing negative to say about them. I just trust Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid and most of all Steve Spagnuolo more than anyone to get the job done. — Prince Grimes
