Super Bowl 57 is about to be here, with the Philadelphia Eagles taking on the Kansas City Chiefs.
This post is simple: Who’s winning an NFL title after a wild 2022 season? Will the Eagles take it home with Jalen Hurts under center and an incredible defense? Can the Chiefs win a second one with Patrick Mahomes at the helm?
We asked the For The Win staff for their predictions, and we got some takes with the score and winner (and one Eagles fan who had two words for this one).
So here you go: Here’s our take on who’s winning the Super Bowl on Sunday in Arizona.

Christian D'Andrea: Chiefs win 27-23
Nick Sirianni’s aggression vs. Andy Reid’s experience in a battle between the two best quarterbacks of 2022 and the two most devastating pass rushes. I love it.
Ultimately, I think Patrick Mahomes’ big game experience and the lingering questions about Jalen Hurts’ recovery from a late-season shoulder sprain will be the difference. Hurts hasn’t had to do much in two blowout playoff wins, but won’t have the luxury in Arizona. He’s capable of lifting Philly to great heights — but this won’t be the year he does so. Kansas City mounts a second half comeback for a four-point win.

Go Birds :)
Andrew Joseph: Chiefs win 33-30
For as great as the Eagles have been all season, I can’t go against Patrick Mahomes in this matchup. Chiefs win on the final drive because of course they do.
Blake Schuster: Chiefs win 35-30
I refuse to bet against Patrick Mahomes as an underdog and I think his experience on this stage will go quite a long way.
Robert Zeglinski: Chiefs win 30-24
Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid falling short in their second Super Bowl in three years is unfathomable to me.
Two weeks off should be plenty of time for the NFL’s premier player to get healthy, taking away a distinct advantage of the Chiefs’ previous playoff opponents. Plus, while the advanced numbers don’t necessarily bear it out, Kansas City’s defense — led by the incomparable Chris Jones — is more than capable of pressing Jalen Hurts into a few unfortunate mistakes.
By the time the Super Bowl kicks off, Hurts will have thrown roughly 84 passes in two months. The “rust” factor, with the Chiefs’ offense actually forcing Hurts to throw to keep pace, will be too much to overcome for Philly.
Charles Curtis: Eagles win 27-24
You’re all underrating the Eagles again. The defense was absolutely punishing against the Niners, and I can see Jalen Hurts using his legs to avoid the Chiefs’ devastating pass rush and dismantle Kansas City’s less-than-impressive run D. And yes, this kills me as a Giants fan.
Prince Grimes: Chiefs win 27-23
Everything I’ve seen this year is telling me to take the Eagles and yet I’m going the other way because I simply can’t pick against Patrick Mahomes on this stage.
Caroline Darney: Eagles win 28-20
The Chiefs just haven’t looked crisp in the postseason, and the Eagles seem to have all the vibes right now. Previously I’d agree that you can’t go against Mahomes, but he’s looked human. A really good at football human, but a human nonetheless.
Michelle Martinelli: Eagles win 33-27
Jalen Hurts is an absolute rockstar who will punish teams on the ground if he can’t beat them with his arm. It’d be a mistake to underestimate him or this talented Eagles roster — even with Patrick Mahomes on the other side.
